LAST UPDATED 20 JULY 2026

This explains what we collect when you use synthetixis.com, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We have kept it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].

Who we are

The data controller is Synthetixis, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation in the United States.

131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States.
Contact: [email protected].

What we collect, and why

When you use the Partner form

We collect the name, email address, and message you submit. We use them for one thing: reading your inquiry and replying to it.

Legal basis: our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The specific interest is responding to people who contact us about working together. We do not use these details for marketing, and we do not sell them.

Providing these details is entirely voluntary. The only consequence of not providing them is that we cannot receive or reply to your inquiry.

Preventing spam and abuse

When you submit the form, your IP address is processed for a moment to rate-limit submissions (so one source cannot flood us). This happens in memory only and is not written to a database; the counters expire on their own and reset when the server restarts. The form also carries a hidden field that real people never see or fill, which lets us drop automated spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and usable.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: page views and basic interaction data (such as which things get clicked). We deliberately exclude the contents of the Partner form from analytics; those fields are marked so their values are never captured. We also respect Do Not Track: if your browser sends that signal, analytics does not initialize.

Being honest about the current state: we do not yet show a cookie-consent banner. We are reviewing this, and analytics is limited to the above (no session recording, no capture of form contents).

Where your data goes

We keep the number of companies that touch your data small. Each is a processor acting on our instructions:

International transfers

We are a US company, and some of our processors are based in the United States. So while our primary hosting and database are in Germany, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. If you contact us from the EU or UK, be aware that this transfer happens.

How long we keep it

We keep an inquiry for as long as it is relevant to the conversation with you. When we remove one, it is soft-deleted first: hidden from use and recoverable for a period, rather than erased on the spot. So deletion is not instant.

Database backups are retained for 14 days on our server and 30 days off-sitein a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. We do not encrypt the backup files ourselves; the off-site copies rely on Cloudflare R2's encryption of stored objects at rest. A record you asked us to delete can therefore persist in a backup until that window rolls over.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, erase it, restrict how we use it, hand it to you in a portable form, or object to our using it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority.

Because we rely on legitimate interests for our processing, you have the right to object to it at any time. Email us and we will stop, unless we have compelling grounds not to.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will not make you jump through hoops.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. This version is dated 20 July 2026.
